2024 Oscars fashion: Michelle Yeoh and other celebrities dazzle with chic gowns

It is considered to be the biggest night in the awards season for showbusiness.

As the entertainment industry's biggest stars gathered in Hollywood for the 2024 Oscars, the red carpet became a fashion focus.

Some of the most chic and glamorous dresses were paraded by celebrities for the evening, with one stunning look after the other making an appearance.

Malaysia's Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh led the pack wearing a custom Balenciaga couture gown. She paired it with opera gloves for an added chic effect.

Surprisingly, Margot Robbie ditched pink – a colour that she has been championing for almost a year now in conjunction with her role in the Barbie film, and instead, opted for black.

It was Ariane Grande who instead embraced pink. The singer and actress chose a bright and bold Giambattista Valli couture gown that featured waist attachments and a trailing train.

Metallics was a big favourite. A lot of the red carpet designs bore sparkly accents and bejewelled decorations.
