Once again, fashion is resurrecting the relics of past decades.
After fabric headbands and banana clips, the XXL scrunchie is back in the spotlight. This flagship accessory of the 1980s is once again enjoying its moment of glory, as attested by the Stylight search engine, which reports a 90% increase in demand since last year.
It's also in line with the broader trend for XXL hair accessories, such as the flowers seen at Sandy Liang's show last New York Fashion Week.
Whether worn in a ponytail or in a bun, the XXL scrunchie is an accessory that can add pizzazz to even the most classic of hairstyles! This inexpensive accessory has already been spotted on a number of celebrities, including Bella Hadid, Ariana Grande and Hailey Bieber.
Easy to find in supermarkets, the XXL scrunchie is available in a range of fabrics and colours.

White lace tights
Red and other shades of colourful tights have been having a moment in fashion for the past few months. They could soon give way to white lace tights.
The Stylight search engine notes a 58% increase in searches for this accessory on Google since last year.
On social networks, the hashtag #whitetights is already gaining traction with internet users on TikTok.
Seen semi-transparent at Missoni, in lace at Moschino and Dolce & Gabbana, white tights were also spotted in the Chanel Spring/Summer 2024 collection. How to wear them? Under a skirt or dress, primarily, but you can even wear them with tailored shorts.

Colourful sneakers
This season, colour can be worn right down to your toes. In fact, colourful sneakers are all the rage this spring, with shades like fuchsia pink, neon green, and especially bright red.
Stylight notes a 24% increase in searches for red sneakers on Google since last year.
On the runways, brightly coloured sneakers made their mark during the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter 2024 collection shows. Brands such as Loewe, Balenciaga and Marine Serre proposed sophisticated looks accompanied by vivid sneakers.
Comfortable and eye-catching, colourful sneakers offer an urban yet striking look.
From the Adidas Samba to the Nike Cortez, there's no shortage of choice if you want to give this trend a try. The best part is that you can rock the trend with any outfit, from a cocktail dress to a casual sweater-and-jeans combo. – AFP Relaxnews
