There's no doubt about it: the beauty world, in the broadest sense of the term, is now one with that of food.
Not content with turning to healthy food to improve the condition of their skin – something we owe to the advent of holistic beauty – for several months now, social network users have also been drawing inspiration from ingredients, dishes and drinks to create new beauty trends.
Examples include "latte makeup", with its warm bronze shades; "espresso makeup", based on rich, darker hues; and the "pumpkin spice latte" look, focusing on the spicy orange shades of the famous drink.

It's a phenomenon that began last year, and which took hold on social networks for months.
Now, there is a revived interest in brighter, more colourful makeup. That's all it took for social media users to look for a new source of inspiration, much more suited to the season: berries.
From blueberries and blackberries to raspberries, blackcurrants, grapes and even tomatoes, the red, pink and violet hues of these small, fleshy fruits with seeds and pips are the talk of social media, TikTok leading the way.
On the Chinese social network, the #berrymakeup hashtag has already racked up over seven million views!
Getting the look couldn't be easier. Simply pick a colour palette inspired by these different berries for eyes, cheeks or lips – or all these parts of the face at once.
If possible, opt for pastel shades. The aim is to achieve a natural, light makeup look, with a few touches of colour, but without excess. It's a truly tasty, tangy beauty look, but it's also one that's always fresh and radiant, right in line with the season's inspirations.

This trend is reminiscent of the recent craze for certain fruits – including berries – in the beauty world.
We've already seen "strawberry makeup", for a healthy glow with back-from-the-beach vibes, but also red-focused "cherry makeup" and the "tomato girl" look, inspired by 1970s Italy. There is also the "blueberry milk" nails, which offered a manicure echoing the colour of a blueberry milkshake.
All that remains now is to bet on the fruit – or, more precisely, the berry – that will be the current trending focus. – AFP Relaxnews
