For him

Just right for the holiday season, the latest Captain Cook Skeleton series has a gorgeous model trimmed in rose-gold PVD on crown and bezel that would fit right in with your man’s rugged lifestyle.

The iconic box-shaped sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on both faces, opens onto a stylish, smoke-tinted dial, adding character to the skeleton movement and its finely detailed, see-through plate and exquisite geometry.

The intricate movement and its components can clearly be observed in operation from the top or the underside of the watch.

The proven 25-jewel R808 automatic calibre, equipped with an anti-magnetic Nivachron hairspring, provides exceptional precision and 80 hours of power reserve.

What’s more, the high-tech ceramic feels absolutely comfortable against the skin as the elegant three-row bracelet in matching matte-black high-tech ceramic and its titanium three-fold clasp sits elegantly on the wrist, as if it’s always meant to be there.

Made with tasteful creativity, still in keeping with the signature stylish features and durable quality, the new model is a heartwarming celebration of watchmaker’s art, making it a joy to share with your loved one this festive season.

For her

Here’s a love story that would complement the ideal gift for couples. Consider Rado’s new Centrix Open Heart that offers a fresh new narrative that speaks of design stylings and elements that evoke eternal love and lasting memories.

Firstly, the dial of the new Centrix hints of a bridge − two gentle curves, with the upper one at the centre of the timepiece upon which the hands pivot in perfect harmony.

A large window frames the state-of-the-art R734 automatic movement that offers 80 hours of power reserve and has a Nivachron hairspring, as well as a rippled-sunlight “ondulé soleil” motif on chosen component surfaces.

The dial’s background matches the bracelet’s central links in Rado high-tech ceramic, while the case and outer bracelet elements come in soothing shades of rose-gold-coloured PVD-finished stainless steel. A gently convex sapphire crystal with a rounded edge, bonded to the case, gives perfect readability thanks to anti-reflective coating on both faces.

Another sapphire crystal completes the stainless-steel case-back to allow an insightful glimpse into the Open Heart’s workings, in line with Rado’s “Art of Skeletonization” product series.

Everyone has a different story, as such, different models are available to match her personality, including one in plasma high-tech ceramic which has a white mother-of-pearl dial surface and matching high-tech-ceramic bracelet central links.

A more contrasting and intense version comes with a dark-brown mother-of-pearl dial and matching high-tech-ceramic bracelet links might suit someone driven by passion, while the beautiful Jubilé models feature 12 Top Wesselton full-cut diamonds as indices to mark the hours.

It will be hard to make a choice as each watch makes a case but for sure, every timepiece will be a much-cherished gift.
