Not many people may have heard of the “Lost World of Sabah”, or Maliau Basin.

Maliau Basin in central Sabah encompasses 58,840ha or 588sq km of pristine forest, and was once described by a website as “one of the few remaining relatively untouched wilderness areas in the world”.
