From the crowded terminals in Chicago’s O’Hare to the somewhat confusing layouts of the Washington Dulles and the Los Angeles International, airports in the United States are not without their flaws.

To expand capacities, improve energy efficiency and make terminals more passenger-friendly, the US government is now planning to invest almost $1bil (RM4.43bil) in the country’s airports.
