Visitors are recommended to bring their own binoculars for a spot of bird watching.

If you’re not keen on birdwatching, you can also walk along the trails in the park.

Another attraction that’s perfect for nature lovers is the firefly park or Kelip-Kelip Kampung Kuantan. This popular place is one of the must-visit spots for tourists in Kuala Selangor. The fireflies that inhabit this mangrove is of the “pteroptyx tener” species.

The boatmen here use traditional rowboats instead of motorboats, to avoid any noise pollution that would agitate the fireflies.

Here, the local community comes together to support and encourage local artists to showcase their talents, through exhibitions and events. Its recent project is a mural that involved artists like Bibichun, Sliz, Ng Kim Heoh and Jason Teo Jia Hao.

Meanwhile, Masjid Raja Lumu is one of the landmarks in Kuala Selangor, built on the site of the former Kuala Selangor Old Mosque. This mosque was inaugurated by Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj as the 9th royal mosque in Selangor.
