If you are a fan of escape room games, then you may want to check out Bomb Battle.

Located at Berjaya Times Square’s indoor theme park in Kuala Lumpur, Bomb Battle is the largest paint bomb battle in the country that was launched earlier this week.

According to Datin Sheehan Tee, Mission Group founder and CEO, Bomb Battle is an innovative way to bring people together – by turning video games into a real-life experience.

“It’s something that people need now more than ever after (the past three years). It takes a lot of team effort and at the same time, it helps unleash players’ hidden talents,” she said at the launch in KL. Tee and Tan Lee Chuen, the company’s co-founders, came up with the idea for Bomb Battle together.

Tee said that the company has plans to introduce the game to other countries as well.

The one-of-a-kind immersive game draws inspiration from action movies, game shows, escape room games and video games. One game session, which lasts for 75 minutes, features five tasks and players have to defuse a bomb within 15 minutes in each one. Failing this, the bomb “explodes”, splashing players with colourful paint.

Protective gear like full-body suits and shoe coverings are provided to each player, so you don’t have to worry about getting dirty or hurting yourself.

If you want to try this experience, you would need to get a group of friends or colleagues, or you can go with your family. You can get your tickets from Klook, or head straight to the theme park at the mall. Prices start from RM89 per person.
