Competition brings together 422 Orang Asli pupils from seven states
The two-day Orang Asli Student School Sports Day (KSSMOA) 2023 provided an opportunity for the participants to show their athletic talent.
It was spearheaded by beverage brand Milo which teamed up with the Education Ministry’s sports, co-curricular and arts division to encourage more Orang Asli schoolchildren to take up sports.
The competition brought together 422 Orang Asli children from seven states who took part in a host of events including football, sepak takraw, handball and track and field.
It was held over two days at schools in Shah Alam, Puchong and Subang Jaya.
Milo trucks offered complimentary drinks to participants.In a statement, Nestle (M) Bhd sports marketing manager (Milo) Kerwin Lim said, “We are pleased to join hands with Education Ministry for this initiative.
