MALAYSIA’s largest futsal tournament, Milo Hidup Bola (MHB), is back for its 18th instalment, bigger than ever.
From six regional locations, it has spread to 13 states and Kuala Lumpur to uncover and develop youth talents while fostering active lifestyles.
Kicking off in June with preliminary rounds until Aug 24, the event has already drawn 12,000 players, marking the highest turnout in its history.
“Malaysians’ response to Hidup Bola and our call for a healthier nation has been uplifting,” Nestlé (M) Bhd’s Milo sports marketing manager Kerwin Lim said of MHB, which is open to participants in the under-12 and under-16 categories.
“It is inspiring to see that many share our belief in the value of leading an active lifestyle.
“Tournaments like these exemplify Milo’s commitment in shaping the next generation of young futsal talents, while also instilling essential values and lessons.
“We believe every second spent fighting against adversity shapes children to overcome obstacles with determination, leading to greater success both on the court and in life,” he said in a press statement.
As the excitement builds towards the grand finals on Sept 7 in Kuala Lumpur, the ambitions of young futsal players will be one step closer to being fulfilled.
