TURNING up the heat this English Premier League season for football fans, Guinness Malaysia is hosting a series of viewing parties nationwide.
Fans of the game and stout will be united for an unforgettable action and viewing experience as they get to enjoy the electrifying atmosphere of the Premier League.
Heineken Malaysia Bhd managing director Martijn van Keulen said, “We are excited to roll out the Guinness x Premier League campaign in Malaysia, which offers an opportunity for all football fans – regardless of their club allegiance – to come together to enjoy the game they love.
“The Premier League embodies passion, excitement and unity, and Guinness is thrilled to bring that same vibrant energy to fans across Malaysia.
“This campaign is not just about celebrating the partnership of two iconic global brands, but also about creating unforgettable experiences that put passionate fans, the rich culture of football and the enjoyment of a Guinness at the very heart of the action.
“We’re inviting fans to unite, share their love for the game and savour every moment with a Guinness,” van Keulen said during the launch of Guinness x Premier League at Aurum Theatre, The Exchange TRX, Kuala Lumpur.
At the launch, fans enjoyed football, had temporary tattoos done and played arcade games.
They were then ushered to the cinema to watch the highly anticipated Battle of the Reds between Manchester United and Liverpool, in which the latter won 3-0.
The global campaign kicked off in London, where Premier League legend Alan Shearer teamed up with Guinness to unveil an iconic spectacle – a line-up of 20 Guinness tankers, each sporting the colours of a Premier League club.
They set off from the legendary St James’ Gate Brewery in Dublin, Ireland, delivering pints of Guinness to fans for the season’s first match.
In Malaysia, guests participating in the viewing parties stand to win incredible prizes, including an all-expenses-paid trip to watch a Premier League match live.
From Sept 15 to Jan 31, purchases of Guinness during the viewing parties at participating outlets qualify for entries.
