Keep lid on prices of essentials, urges group


Burdening families: Prices of Indian spices have been rising, according to the Penang Hindu Association.

THE Penang Hindu Association (PHA) has urged the Federal Government to act on importers, wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers who keep increasing the prices of essential grocery items.

PHA deputy president P. Muru-giah said the prices of 16 daily items had risen since December.
