ALL the 773 traders in Petaling Street will be subjected to new trading rules to preserve the image of Chinatown as an important tourist destination.

Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Hamzah Zainudin said the new SOP would take effect after a detailed meeting with the Kuala Lumpur Hawkers and Petty Traders Association before Hari Raya Aidiladha.
