Cancer boy joins Fifth Formers nationwide in sitting for SPM

DESPITE being diagnosed with stage four bone cancer, Muhammad Amirundin Abdullah is still full of spirit to sit for his Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) at SMK Tunku Abdul Malik in Alor Setar.

The 18-year-old student, who is also partially blind, came on a wheelchair to school yesterday morning and was helped to the examination hall by state Education Department director Datin Azuyah Hassan.
