KOTA KINABALU: Some 300km and about seven hours’ drive away from the state capital, more than 600 families from villages in Kinabatangan were given a free health examination by volunteers.
The health programme, courtesy of Mercy Malaysia and UMW, was held to provide basic medical screening, dental screening and pap smear tests. Reading glasses for adults and hygiene kits were also distributed, and a health talk held for villagers of Kampung Inarad in the district.
