KOTA KINABALU: The Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama) in Sabah aims to export RM12mil worth of ‘Saba’ bananas to Peninsular Malaysia this year, up from RM10mil last year.
Its director Ribin Wahid said the target was achievable, as statistics showed that there was an upward trend in the export of the commodity since Sabah Fama began actively marketing it in 2012.
