Pig farm operators in Perak plan to upgrade their facilities to conform with state regulations

Dr Mah said during the a bi-partisan meeting on pig farming that the deadline to modernise is fast approaching.

SOME 78 pig farms in the state have begun planning to modernise and improve farming methods to become cleaner.

Perak Animal Husbandry Association President Tan Kuang Liang said the owners and operators of the 78 farms are agreeable with a set of criteria laid out by the authorities and are now planning to enhance their operations.
