Top draw speakers for upcoming conference

A HOST of renowned intellectuals and public figures will be giving talks at the 2016 Third World Conference on Islamic Thought and Civilisation (WCIT), set to be held at Casuarina@Meru Hotel from Oct 18 to 20.

WCIT secretary-general Zurul Na’im Zainol Rashid said the speakers at the forum will include Islamic scholar Dr Bilal Philips, activist Lauren Booth, South Africa University researcher Prof Dr Catherine Hoppers, former ASEAN secretary-general Tan Sri Dr Surin Pitsuwan and Yildiz Technical University Graduate School for Humanities Director Prof Dr Alparslan Acikgenc.
