Fourth year medical student Sumitra Roopini Karuthan swept aside all competition to win the much coveted Miss Malaysia Indian Global (MMI Global) crown at the glamorous grand finals.
She beat 14 other finalists from across the country to win the crown, along with two round-trip tickets from Malindo Air to Australia and Nepal, a diving package from ScubaHome and Coral Beach Resort in Terengganu, a Suunto watch, prizes from Universal Fitness & Leisure (UFL) and a Lakme Cosmetics hamper.
