Johor targets to reduce carbon emission by 50% in 2025

BANDUNG, INDONESIA: The Johor government remains committed in its effort to reduce carbon emission by 50% in 2025 compared to 2005 levels through the implementation of 281 programmes under the Low Carbon Society Blueprint for Iskandar Malaysia 2025.

Johor Health and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat said that the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) and five local authorities within the economic corridor have been carrying out programmes to reach their goal.
