AFTER years of living in fear, residents of the dilapidated Waller Court flats in Ipoh are seeing better days as they are now no longer plagued by constant worry for their safety.

With a police beat base set up and police frequently patrolling in plain sight, especially during the wee hours of the morning, the residents say they are seeing a huge difference in terms of crime at the low-cost flats.
