THE community spirit was alive at Seck Chuan Lane in George Town, Penang, where a four-day celebration for the Hungry Ghost Festival took place.

Residents, as part of the area’s Phor Thor Committee, all worked together to put up an altar brimming with various offerings to the Tai Su Yeah (King of Hades).
