Two famous French chefs will unite tomorrow to create a four-course dinner at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse at SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting.
Chefs Jocelyn Deumie and Pascal Bonnafous are the icing on the cake in the third instalment of the “Michelin Magic Series”, a collaboration between Resorts World Genting and Taylor’s Culinary Institute.
A graduate of France’s prestigious Lycee Hotelier de Toulouse, Deumie brings 25 years of culinary craft to the table.
With skills sharpened in kitchens of renowned eateries including the Michelin-starred Les Jardins de l’Opera in Toulouse and L’Esplanade a Domme, he now serves as Asia general director and ambassador of global foie gras producer Rougie.
Joining him is Bonnafous, who has over three decades of experience in Michelin-starred restaurants.
Bonnafous’ journey in blending traditional techniques with modern flair had taken him to culinary capitals of France, Spain and the United States.
Able to tantalise the palate with his creations, he was accepted by the Disciples Escoffier International, a professional body where membership is only by invitation and sponsorship.
Bonnafous also helmed his own Michelin-starred restaurant for five years and is now a senior lecturer at the renowned Toulouse Culinary School.
Deumie and Bonnafous’ menu will offer guests the chance to taste the dishes that have won them acclaim.
The menu includes Scallop Ceviche and Vegetable “Gargouillou” enhanced with Labneh and Spices as well as Pan-Fried Black Angus paired with Foie Gras, Potato Confit, Butternut Puree, and a Classic Morel Sauce.
The four-course dinner, paired with fine wines, is priced at RM550 per person.
