Cinnamon roll brand returns with KL, Putrajaya eateries

Cinnabon’s rolls made with exclusively sourced Makara cinnamon.

LIFE in Malaysia is about to get sweeter with the return of Cinnabon, purveyor of irresistible cinnamon rolls.

The brand’s first eatery is at The Exchange TRX in Kuala Lumpur.

Cinnabon Malaysia is now owned and operated by new Malaysian franchisee AC Hesed Group.

Its strategic director Noémi Chaw said, “We are thrilled to bring the best cinnamon rolls to Malaysians.

“Baked fresh and hand rolled, and never without its unmistakable sweet cinnamon-spiced aroma, our cinnamon rolls are perfect for every occasion or when you just need a sweet treat to brighten your day.”

One ingredient unique to Cinnabon is Makara cinnamon sourced from Indonesia.

At the new bakery, guests can enjoy the aroma of freshly baked rolls and signature Makara cinnamon, along with frosting.

These cinnamon rolls come in two sizes – original Cinnabon and smaller Minibons in three flavours: Classic, Caramel Pecanbon, and Chocobon.

Customers have the options of CinnaPacks – two-pack Cinnabon’s Classic Rolls, four-pack or nine-pack Minibons.

Other treats include Roll-on-the-Go (made from the gooey centre of the classic Cinnabon), in addition to beverages such as espresso-based hot and iced coffees, freshly squeezed Classic Lemonade and blended Chillattas.

AC Hesed Group also announced that the second Cinnabon store in Malaysia is open at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya.
