Rooftop eatery rolls out Tex-Mex spread in KL city centre


The Mexican-style Roasted Chicken is among the dishes to spice things up for both regular and new patrons.

BOLD and vibrant flavours of a Tex-Mex buffet await weekend diners to Trace Restaurant and Bar (Trace) at Element Kuala Lumpur.

The new theme aims to spice things up for both regulars and new patrons.

Meat dishes served include the roasted spice-infused Pollo Asado chicken, the BBQ Slow Roasted Beef Short Ribs and Classic Tacos with Chilli Con Carne.

Salads include the refreshing Tex-Mex Chicken Chopped Salad with Corn and Red Bean.

Trace’s signature live grill has meats being cooked right in front of guests.

Must-haves from this culinary corner include the Bratwurst Sausage, Peri-Peri Chicken, Cajun Rosemary Lamb Shoulder and Harissa Baked Fish.

The Tex-Mex themed menu is served alongside a spread of global and local dishes including pizzas, soup noodle and desserts.

“Our team has designed a menu that highlights the rich and diverse flavours of Tex-Mex cuisine in every mouthful,” said Element Kuala Lumpur executive chef Taib Ridhwan.

“Each dish is prepared with precision and we are thrilled to share these with guests,” the chef added.

Located on the hotel’s 40th floor, Trace affords diners breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline.

The Tex-Mex Fiesta Dinner Buffet is priced at RM168nett per adult and RM84nett per child.

It is available from 6pm to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays until Nov 30.
