Sleepy village on the ‘fifth river’

HORNS blaring, billows of smoke from vehicles, bumper-to-bumper traffic – these stress-inducing city aspects are virtually non-existent at the Kampung Bagan Sungai Lima New Village.

Instead, bicycles replace the need for cars, and motorbikes with a medley of bike bells echo through the streets in place of loud car horns.
