The public having a try at making mud balls using rice bran, brown sugar and enzyme made from fruit peels.

HUNDREDS of Klangites celebrated National Day with a twist when they tossed about 2,000 effective microorganism (EM) mud balls into the Klang River to clean it up.

The usually quiet Kota Bridge, which is a historic icon in the royal town, was packed with the boisterous crowd that came early for the event, organised by the Klang River Heritage Club in conjunction with the 60th anniversary of the bridge.
