Famous heritage trail a boon for tourism

MELAKA: Governor Tun Dr Mohd Khalil Yaakob was among the key figures behind the historic “Early Malay Civilisation Historical Trail Expedition” from Pekan, Pahang, to Melaka.

State secretary Datuk Seri Naim Abu Bakar said it was the former Pahang Mentri Besar who had suggested that such expeditions be carried out along the 450km route, which has long been in existence.
