FORMER students of St Xavier’s Institution (SXI) Class of 1974-1976 have donated RM120,000 to their alma mater in Penang.

The old boys and girls, who call themselves ‘SXI Merdeka Boyz & Girlz’ as they were born in 1957, had a nostalgic visit to their alma mater on Sept 24, when they came up with the idea of having a fundraising exercise for the school, said SXI Merdeka Boyz & Girlz/Class of 1974-1976 fundraising committee chairman Datuk Dr Kenny Ong.
