Gabriel Ananda is a techno fan at heart, combining it with some groovy melodies for great vibes on the dance floor.
ELYSIUM presents Gabriel Ananda (Soulful Techno) on the Terrace on Jan 20. Ananda’s first fairly technoid releases in 1997 on Hör/Spiel/Musik and Utils were only recognised by insiders, but since then, his name has been on the up.
Back then, harder techno gave him a field of fascination, but he was always more drawn to melodies and inspired by beautiful sounds. In the early 2000s, he started to combine driving techno with his melodies, which was pretty uncommon at that time, and began releasing on labels such as Karmarouge, Trapez and Platzhirsch.
