IN conjunction with the ninth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF9), which starts tomorrow (Feb 7) in Kuala Lumpur, Rapid KL is introducing a special edition MyRapid Touch ‘n Go (MyRapid TnG) card.

The special edition MyRapid TnG card comes with a special sleeve with the official design of WUF9.

It combines a mini-map for help cardholders to navigate heritage sites, restaurants and places of interest near major LRT stations in the city centre.

“We are introducing this special edition card in support of WUF9, which promotes sustainable living globally and in which efficient public transport has always been one of the key components,” Rapid KL said in a statement.

“Some 25,000 people, including foreign visitors, are expected to attend the forum, with its main venue at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, and many side events nearby, including Medan Pasar.

“Visitors and participants could be easily connected to these venues by the LRT and MRT services at the Pasar Seni, Masjid Jamek and KLCC stations.

Priced at RM30 each, the special edition MyRapid TnG card can be purchased at the WUF9 merchandise store at Hall 4 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Owners of this card would be able to enjoy special fares within seven days of the card being activated, Rapid KL said.
