State officials lower target medal count for Sukma


Perak emerged champions in football for the 2016 Sukma games in Sarawak.

PERAK has lowered its gold medal target from 70 to 50 for the 2018 Malaysia Games (Sukma) that will begin in September.

State Sports Committee Chairman Howard Lee Chuan How said, after having meetings with various team managers and coaches last week, 50 medals is a more realistic target than 70.
