FT Foundation denies involvement in Gombak market redevelopment


Contrary to what's been reported, the foundation is not involved in the redevelopment of Gombak market, says Zaizalnizam.

THE Federal Territories Foundation (YWP) is not involved in the redevelopment of Pasar Besar Gombak.

In response to a StarMetro report titled “Evicted Gombak market traders want compensation in full” on June 25, YWP chief executive officer Zaizalnizam Zainun, in a statement, denied involvement in the redevelopment of the market. The story indicated that the market would make way for a nine-storey commercial high-rise building and 44-storey residential block.
