THE quicksand along a walking path in Bandar Country Homes, Rawang, where a Selayang Municipal Councillor had sank in until waist depth, was caused by a spoilt underground sewerage pipe.

The Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) has cordoned off a 10m stretch of the walking path at Jalan Desa, Bandar Country Homes, Phase 4.
