THOUSANDS of devotees braved the scorching heat to visit Batu Caves for the Thaipusam celebration yesterday.
Dressed in yellow, many carried the kavadi while other devotees carried paal kudam (milk pot) on their heads, accompanied by the sound of beating drums.
