Johor looking to boost investments in petrochemicals, food


Puah said the state is looking at developing Bukit Gambir as part of North of Johor Economic Corridor.

JOHOR BARU: The state government hopes to expand investments in the petrochemical and food industry fields, State International Trade, Investment and Utilities Committee chairman Jimmy Puah Wee Tse said.

He said among the countries on the state’s radar include the United Arab Emirates, China, Singapore, United States, Japan and Australia.
