Creating awareness on decline of rivers

A CAMPAIGN is under way to increase public awareness about the importance of rivers with special insight into Sungai Kelian in Tanjung Bungah, Penang.

The ‘Jom Kenali Sungai Kelian’ awareness campaign was organised by Penang Island City Council councillor Dr Chee Heng Leng under the Penang River Awareness Project.
