MELAKA: The Transfusion Medicine Department of the Melaka hospital is urging the public to donate blood to ensure sufficient daily supply, especially with Ramadan coming up next month.

In a statement on its Facebook page, the department said on average 80 to 90 blood bags were needed every day, and due to the Covid-19 outbreak, many of its blood donation campaigns had to be cancelled.
