IT WAS a surreal scene with barbed wires running down the length of the road, effectively dividing residents into two — one side boxed in under quarantine, while the other still able to go out if required.

Residents in parts of Selayang Baru woke up overnight to discover that certain areas had been cordoned off when the enhanced movement control order (MCO) was enforced in their neighbourhood on Saturday.
