Muslims celebrate Nuzul al-Quran at home

Meera Mydin says all mosques activities were cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

WITH the conditional movement control order (MCO) still in place, the Muslim community had to observe the Nuzul al-Quran celebration for 1441 Hijrah at home.

Kapitan Keling Mosque committee chairman Datuk Meera Mydin Mastan said the mosque’s imam was invited to pre-record a half-an-hour video to explain the significance of Nuzul al-Quran and the benefits of reading the al-Quran.
