MIRI: A big volume of water is being released from the 210m-high Bakun Dam in central Sarawak as it is filling up due to heavy rain in the upper reaches.

The entire riverine population living along the Balui River to Rajang River to Kapit town and Sibu in central Sarawak have been warned about swiftly rising river waters.
