Dawn of new era for night markets

THE Macallum Street Ghaut pasar malam in Penang has finally reopened to the public after a three-month closure following the implementation of the movement control order (MCO) in March.

Despite strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulations, the night market was brimming with people, especially residents from the nearby area.
