‘Give local tourists better incentives’

THE Penang government is calling on the Federal Government to consider increasing the RM1,000 income tax relief for spending related to domestic tourism.

State tourism, arts, culture and heritage committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin said he had written to Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry proposing the matter to stimulate domestic tourism.
