Ample supply of beef and mutton for Hari Raya Haji in Johor


JOHOR BARU: The Johor government, through the state Veterinary Services Department, has approved 520 permits for slaughterhouses to carry out korban (sacrificial rites) in conjunction with the Hari Raya Haji celebration tomorrow.

State agriculture, agro-based and rural development committee chairman Datuk Samsolbari Jamali said the supply of beef and mutton in Johor was sufficient to celebrate the festival.
