MIRI: The RM10,000 in fines imposed by the Kuching Sessions Court on two women for possessing and selling turtle eggs should serve as a warning and deter the people from repeating the offence, said Sarawak Wildlife Controller Zolkipli Mohamad Aton.
He said the two could have been fined a maximum of RM25,000 and jailed up to two years each, he said.
