Hospice raises funds via online contest of MCO haircut photos

WHEN the Government announced the movement control order (MCO) on March 18, the first thought that came to Charis Hospice Penang’s development executive Candi Chong’s mind was to find a way to sustain operations at the palliative care home.

“Our main event — the mall and motor charity hunt — had to be cancelled because of the MCO, and we had limited options to do any events to raise funds.
