JOHOR BARU: The demand for rattan furniture has been on the upward trend globally over the past couple of years, with a bulk of orders coming from overseas.

Christy Lee, who runs a fourth-generation rattan manufacturing company with her husband in Muar, said local and overseas orders for the furniture has increased by about 80% compared to three years ago.
