Celebrate a Divine Diwali

A “Divine Diwali” celebration awaits at Gurney Plaza.

ONE of the most important Hindu festivals, Diwali, is also known as the Festival of Lights where small oil lamps will be lit in homes. This is to celebrate the triumph of good over evil, purity over impurity and light over darkness. The festival marks the return of Lord Rama - the seventh incarnation of Vishnu, from a 14-year exile. It is a time for renewal and rejoicing.

This year, celebrate the Festival of Lights at Gurney Plaza as it is set to bring you a “Divine Diwali”.



Auspicious decorations for the occasion.

The mall decorated its Gurney Entrance with an enchanting golden lotus flower, adorned with the traditional kolam and diyas; welcoming prosperity, unity and blessings. With Deepavali being the brightest and most colourful of all Hindu festivals, the lotus and diya will be lighted for the occasion to highlight the illuminating lights traditionally associated with the festival.

Throughout the month, there will be social media contests to participate in as well as various redemptions for shoppers to redeem.
