Folk avoid panic buying

THERE was no panic buying on the first day of the two-week conditional movement control order (MCO) imposed on Mukim 12 (sub-district 12) in the southwest district of Penang island.

Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry Penang director Mohd Ridzuan Ab Ghapar said there was a larger crowd than usual at the Giant hypermarket in Bayan Baru but no panic.
