‘Use judgement for Qing Ming’


More family members may be making their way to Hing Hua cemetery in Sibu this year for Qing Ming, which falls on April 4.

SIBU United Chinese Graveyard Association wants people to use their wisdom in deciding whether to observe Qing Ming, which falls on April 4.

Its chairman Teo Boon Siew said if the Covid-19 situation remained the same, with new cases of between 50 and 100 daily, it would be advisable to forgo the traditional practice of visiting cemeteries.
